CRB - Cable Route Builder
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
CRB stores schemes, their names, placed components, connections and update times in a local SQLite database on your iPhone. It stores the selected language and completed lesson identifiers and counts of validation attempts with findings for each lesson in local app preferences. A random installation secret is stored in this device's Keychain. When sync is available, the app sends the secret and scheme data to our service; the service stores schemes in PostgreSQL under a SHA-256 hash of the secret, not the secret itself. Requests necessarily reach Railway infrastructure and may expose network information such as an IP address. The service logs a request identifier, HTTP method, path, response status and duration, and logs server errors without scheme bodies or secrets. We do not ask for an account or collect a name or email address through the app.
How we use information
Local data makes the editor, templates and lesson progress and review recommendations work and keeps schemes available offline. The installation secret authorizes private API requests. Server copies let the same installation sync and retrieve its schemes. Request and error logs support operation and troubleshooting. PDF export is created on the device when you ask for it.
Service providers and sharing
Railway hosts the HTTP service and PostgreSQL database and processes requests and infrastructure logs for hosting. The app uses Apple's iOS Keychain and system Share Sheet; a PDF is shared with a destination only when you choose one. We do not add advertising, analytics, email delivery or social sign-in services. We do not sell scheme data.
Data retention
Local schemes and pending offline changes remain until you delete them in the app or remove its local data. Lesson progress, lesson finding counts and language settings remain in app preferences until app data is removed. Server schemes remain until deleted individually or through Delete my server data. We do not promise a fixed duration for Railway infrastructure logs or backups; deletion from the active database may not immediately remove copies held by Railway under its infrastructure retention processes. The installation secret can remain in Keychain after scheme deletion so the installation can continue to sync new schemes.
Deleting your information
Delete my server data in Settings sends an authorized deletion request, removes this installation's schemes from the active server database and then clears the app's local scheme database and pending changes. Individual schemes can also be deleted in the app. If the device is offline, server deletion cannot finish; the app reports failure and retains local data until it succeeds. Removing the app or losing its installation secret does not itself delete server copies. For a privacy request when the secret is unavailable, contact the address below; we may be unable to identify the matching installation without that secret. Railway backups or logs can remain subject to Railway's own retention processes.
Permissions and your choices
The core editor needs no location, map, contacts, camera or microphone access. The current app does not request notification permission. You may use the iOS Share Sheet to save or share an exported PDF; destination access is controlled by your choice and iOS. You can stop sync by using the app offline, but changes will resume syncing when network access returns. iOS settings control system permissions if a future version asks for any.
Your privacy rights
You can inspect and edit schemes in the app, delete individual schemes, or delete this installation's server data from Settings. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions, email dfffff1233334444@gmail.com. This is a public privacy contact, not an in-app messaging service. Requests may require proof of control of the installation secret; without it we may not be able to locate data tied only to its hash.
Security
The app sends private API requests over HTTPS using a random installation secret held in Keychain. The server checks its SHA-256 hash for every scheme request, scopes database queries to that hash, and does not include secrets or scheme bodies in application logs. Local schemes are held in the app's container under iOS protections. No security measure eliminates all risk, and loss of the installation secret prevents recovery through an account.
Children’s privacy
CRB is an educational planning tool for general audiences, including students, but it is not directed specifically to young children. It has no account, advertising or social features. A parent or guardian can contact us about privacy at dfffff1233334444@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
